Willis Slack, her dad, was a batman in the army in India. he drove a motorbike back in England. Edwin went on the pillion once and Willis terrified him by nearly driving into a truck. Edwin said he’d never go on Willis’ motorbike again.
Ashley, her uncle worked with metal in the RAF.
